Ring the bells! Nobu’s yearend festive Omakase specials this year had us at Hello!
It is absolutely some of the best Nobu offerings we have eaten thus far. If you are in Kuala Lumpur this year end and looking for a venue with top views and top notch services to celebrate Christmas or New Year, Nobu Kuala Lumpur could be an option.
Returning back to the ‘highest altitude’ Nobu (in the world), we tasted several dishes which are the highlights of this year’s Christmas and New Year Omakase menus. Both of the special menus have 7-courses.
A festive Bloody Goose Cocktail (Grey Goose Orange, Don Julio Anejo, Blood Orange, Momokochan vanilla syrup, Lemon juice, Egg white, Grenadine) with Sushi Bar Moriawase (Toro Tartar, Seafood Harumaki, Junsai Ponzu with Mango Miso). A special nod goes to the Junsai (aquatic plant) Ponzu with sea urchin. Christmas Omakase Menu. Cocktail is not included.

Butter Poached Lobster with watercress broth and glazed figs. Very succulent serving. New Year Eve Omakase Menu
Wagyu with Wasabi Black Bean Glaze with Tempura Zucchini Flower. A very tender Matsusaka cut. Christmas Omakase Menu
Cold Inaniwa (uncommon thin udon) with Braised Duck and Bamboo Shoot. Noodles with a slippery, al dente bite. New Year Eve Omakase Menu
Snowman Green Tea Pannacotta, White Chocolate Mousse, Green Tea Sponge. Christmas Omakase Menu
The 7-course Christmas Omakase dinner will be available 22nd to 25th December priced at RM590++ per person. A celebratory 5-course Christmas Omakase lunch, priced at RM250++ per person, is available on 24th & 25th December.
The 7-course New Year’s Eve Omakase is available from 29th December – 1st January, and is priced at RM645++ per person. There will be a special line up of traditional Japanese entertainment on 31st December leading up to the New Year countdown and fireworks.
