This watering hole, located within Publika, usually gets packed with young executives after working hours on weekdays, and their wines and whiskeys can be paired with hearty finger foods as well as mains.
This smoked duck was just so-so tasting. The skin was super fatty and incredibly thick. We could however taste the smokiness in the duck meat which was good.
Seafood Spaghetti – tasty enough with an oceanic flavour. The pasta could have been more al dente.
The menu offers an array of premium chilled grain fed and grass fed Black Label Australian Beef complimented by a selection of sauces and sides.
Chocolate lava cake with a generous dollop of ice-cream and whipped cream on the side. It’s nice when kitchens get the lava run just right! This was one oozingly decadent. Loved it.
DeButchery is definitely more of watering hole than gourmet restaurant. Still the food was adequately portioned and along with a good selection of booze.
