This just happens to be, one of the most talked about events in KL for wine lovers, and rightly so..
This year the fiesta, was back with a blast – bigger and better!
An amazing layout and spread with Platform Hospitality Group, AIX Rosé International, Château La Croix de Gay / Château La Fleur de Gay, Weingut Schloss Gobelsburg, Col Vetoraz Spumanti, Marco Felluga Russiz Superiore, Tenute Silvio Nardi, Braida di Giacomo Bologna, Scarbolo Azienda Uggiano,Mandrarossa Wines, Vajra Barolo, PALA, Smallfry Wines, Kaesler Wines, Carrick Winery & Restaurant, Babich Wines, Château Kefraya…
A nice mix of old world and new world wines, and seeing renown winemakers from around the region should be reason enough to bring you out to this event. This year the Wine Fiesta was held at At Botanica+Co at Bangsar South. The area was decked out in balloons and streamers.. the wine tables dotted the al fresco area as well as indoors. The spread of food that was endlessly topped up, and comes with the price of the ticket, was amazing. From burger sliders, to truffle fries and sushi.. it was the bomb. Wine appreciators & aficionados got to enjoy special one off prices on that night, on their favourite labels, whilst sampling wines and pairing it with good food. Definitely worth the price of the ticket.

This year, over 19 top producers from around the world featured around 60 labels in one day..
Each participant had a pocket-sized booklet containing a simplified score sheet – ‘Love it,’ ‘Not bad’ or ‘Not for me’ after tasting a wine – supposed to help in the wine tasting elimination process and buying of the wines
Great deco & carnival vibe..
It was indeed a great way to taste wines from France, Italy, Austria, Spain, USA, Australia, New Zealand and more plus but then at discounted prices on that day
This year, StraitWines partnered with Botanica + Co, Botanica Deli, Bocosan Izakaya and Street Burgers to bring fab food to keep the stomachs filled during the wine tasting process
