Brunch is by far the best meal of the weekend – a meal that justifies gorging oneself even before the clock chimes 12pm.
And while British cuisine used to suffer under the image of grey boiled meat, this is definitely no longer true.
We were lucky we got to sample the best in British fare, at Vasco, KL Hilton last week..
This whole Superbrunch was in line with the GREATHiltonKL month of festivities..
And for us, it was a great opportunity to check out the brunch spread at Vasco..
Yorkshire pudding, English Sausages and Fish and Chips were a must for me of course! These were definitely the epitome of English cuisine and my favourites too of course.
Turkey ham, hock and pea terrine – delicious!
Air dried beef and asparagus pate.. sublime..
Because one helping is never enough!
All manner of tea.. typical English tea I tell you..
Which way to dine?
Wagyu was a hot favourite with the guests.. And I actually could not find the Haggis, so I was a wee bit disappointed.. what? Bagpipes but no haggis? 😛
Candy floss that sweetened the event up..
All sorts of English cheese..
And meats on the grill…
What a fabulous time at Vasco KL Hilton… let the bagpipes play on and on..
How much cake and pudding..? THIS much of cake and pudding.. enough said!

No haggis? No rich buttery scones either? I love Englsih cream tea, with clotted cream & fruit jam…and I’ve a weakness for Scottish shortbread. Well, at least, there’s fish and chips and Yorkshire pudding. I always feel burgers are American though and sausages make me think of the Germans.
There were scones, I just didn’t have space to eat everything LOL. And there’s overlapping in European cuisine with British cuisine for sure.. it’s all a bit grey.. innit? 😛
