Belvedere Vodka & Paco Rabanne Cocktail Tasting

If you remember the last time Belvedere Vodka was mentioned on this blog, you will remember the Jimmy Choo Event that we attended. This time, the fragrance that will inspire a host of Belvedere cocktails, would be Invictus, by Paco Rabanne.

For Belvedere Vodka & Paco Rabanne Invictus, 7 of Kuala Lumpur’s top bars decided to create some exciting Belvedere Vodka cocktails that would exemplify Sensuality and Freshness. Would it work? Well read on to see for yourselves..

Incidentally, if you are a fan of Belvedere Vodka, this promotion will run from September to October 2013. Customized Belvedere cocktails will be priced from RM26 – RM45 for full sized cocktails. Or you can opt for four shots of cocktails in each flight, just like the ones you will see above. Each flight ordered at RM78 nett will receive a Paco Rabanne Invictus fragrance miniature bottle as well, so that’s a great way to win a cool fragrance, if you are a fan of Paco Rabanne. By the way, the shot should actually a full shot glass – mine looks a lot less because I already drank mine.. was too delicious to resist!

And for this Belvedere Vodka & Paco Rabanne Cocktail Tasting event, we only managed to make it for the last two bars, in a series of bar crawl locations, so, here is our account of the cocktails we tried at Frangipani & Marini’s.

Frangipani’s 4 titillating, fragrance inspired cocktails included:

Then it was time to head on over to Marini’s on 57. Marini’s on 57, located on Level 57 of Menara 3 Petronas in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, is possibly the highest bar you can drink at, in KL. Housing on of Malaysia’s coolest rooftop bars, a contemporary Italian Restaurant and one of Malaysia’s largest rooftop cigar and whisky lounges, Marini’s on 57 is a swanky joint that has a great view of the Twin Towers.

 Will never tire of gazing upon the Petronas Twin Towers..

At Marini’s 57, the Paco Rabanne inspired cocktails that we had included:
1. Invictus
Belvedere Vodka, Fresh Lemon, Honey, Kiwi Fruit & Grapefruit Juice.

2. Black Xs
Belvedere Vodka, Orgeat Syrup, Matcha Powder, Milk, Chocolate Syrup.

3. Rock My Skull
Belvedere Vodka, Ginger, Red Chilli, Tamarind Syrup, Fresh Lime & Dilmah Ceylon Cinnamon Tea.

4. 1 Million Dude
Belvedere Vodka, Basil Leaves Passion Fruit Puree, Fresh Lime Juice, and Butterscotch Syrup & Blood Orange.
