Belvedere Vodka Takes Flight With Jimmy Choo!

What does Belvedere Vodka and Jimmy Choo’s latest fragrance Flash, have in common?

Well they both encompass all things glamorous, fashionable and all that’s en vouge at the moment.

And that’s why the two were paired off in a rather fun cocktail-fragrance crawl, that would take us to bar outlets around Kuala Lumpur.

Belvedere Vodka cocktails inspired by the fashion and glamour of Jimmy Choo.. can’t think of a more fun way to spend a boozy afternoon.

Belvedere Vodka, the world’s first luxury vodka, is synonymous with fashion and glamour around the world, playing host to key parties during London and New York Fashion Week every year. Cementing this fashion association is Belvedere Vodka’s latest collaboration with luxury brand Jimmy Choo that will run at participating bars from July to August 2013.

Taking cues from Jimmy Choo’s second fragrance, Flash, an ultra modern white floral fragrance, five of Kuala Lumpur’s top bars have created signature Belvedere Vodka cocktails that capture the cool rush of excitement and the sense of power a woman feels when dressed in a pair of sexy shoes. The Jimmy Choo woman is at once provocative and a little bit naughty, she challenges convention; she’s a risk taker, charming, audacious and magnetic.

The excitement continues at the bar were folks can sample all four of the Jimmy Choo Flash inspired Belvedere Vodka cocktails from each bar in a “flight” – a sampler of four shot glasses available at RM99nett. And the first 20pax to purchase the Jimmy Choo Belvedere Vodka Flight shots stand to receive a miniature 4ml bottle of Flash fragrance by Jimmy Choo worth RM55!

If you take a special liking to any of the shots, full sized Jimmy Choo Belvedere Vodka cocktails are also available at the participating bars. Purchase a bottle of Belvedere Vodka Pure and you could stand a chance to win the full sized bottle of Flash fragrance by Jimmy Choo.

For this boozy crawl, we were split up into two groups. Our posse tried the ones at Twenty One Kitchen + Bar Changkat BB, Sky Bar, Traders Hotel and ended up at Circus, Pavilion for the grand finale, where we met up with the other group.

“Jimmy Choo Flash – 45ml Belvedere Orange 20ml Parfait amour 5ml Simple syrup 20ml Fresh lemon juice 20ml Egg white Splash Schweppes Tonic RM 38 nett”

“Jimmy Silver – 50ml Belvedere Pure 20ml Fresh lemon juice 20ml Lemongrass syrup 20ml Egg white Topped Schweppes Ginger ale RM 31 nett”

“Fragrance Sour – 45ml Belvedere Pure 30ml Fresh pineapple juice 1 Kaffir Lime leaf 25ml Simple syrup 15ml Fresh lime juice RM 29nett Muddle kaffir leaf with simple syrup in base of mixing glass. Shake all ingredients with ice strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with a kaffir lime leaf.”

“Belvedere vanilla sour – 45ml belvedere pure 20ml vanilla syrup 20ml lemon juice 3 dash orange bitters 5ml egg white ”

“Belvedere summer crush – 45ml belvedere pure 15ml sugar syrup 15ml lemon juice 10ml sweet balsamic reduction ”

“Belvedere fire passion – 45ml belvedere pure 30ml passion fruit purée 15ml sugar syrup 15ml grapefruit juice ”

Circus

By the time we arrived at Circus, we were famished and a little tipsy, so good thing they fed us well!

tres chi-chi! what a glam affair.. and the air was filled with the heady scent of Jimmy Choo’s Flash…

and our stomachs were filled with Circus’ terrific food and outstanding Belvedere based cocktails..

“Runway 50ml Belv. Pure – 15ml Aperol 20ml Passion Fruit Syrup 15ml Lemon Juice 60ml Soda Water RM 38nett”

Belvedere vodka itself is made entirely from Dankowskie Gold Rye and blended with water from its own source. This vodka’s taste profile is smooth and has a clean finish, making it the perfect base to go with mixers. Apart from that, it has also got an incredibly trendy looking bottle and now that they have tied up with Jimmy Choo, yet another great reason for us fashionistas to be seen, sipping them cocktails!
