We are in the thick of Ramadhan month and one of the great places to buka-puasa or to break your fast is at Kitchen Art Brasserie, Empire hotel. The home-style Malay cooking is far from fancy, but it suits the neighborhood clientele, who arrive for dishes that run from generous kampung favourites of grilled lamb to tasty Malay satay and even to the rich, sweet traditional kuihs. The menu lends itself to mixing and matching, but before coming to a decision, every diner receives a delicious meat pie on the way out. Lucky draws are also preformed midway through dinner and there is always something for everybody here at Kitchen Art Brasserie, Empire hotel Subang.
All throughout this festive month, diners can feast on wholesome home-style cooking, with an array of traditional and special kampung-style dishes at Kitchen Art Brasserie, that are set to tantalized the taste buds. Diners will be spoilt for choice with more than 50 exciting buffet items to choose from. Delicacies from different region will be featured weekly, Perak from 21st till 30th July 2012, Kelantan from 31st July till 8th August 2012 and Negeri Sembilan from 9th August till 18th August 2012.

One of the delicious hearty dishes on the menu is the Sup Gear Box, a specialty of Chef Hazif Ramli and it is available daily during this period. This dish is simmered and cooked for about six hours to bring out the taste and also to soften the flesh off the huge chunk of bone. Diners can use the straw to slurp up the bone marrow together with the rich soup.

Apart from the buffet spread, stalls will offer delicacies like grilled whole lamb, chicken and lamb kebab, bubur lambuk, ikan bakar, roti john and etc. For dessert, diners can satisfy their sweet tooth with a huge spread of Malay kuih, tapai pulut , pandan sago gula Melaka ,pastries and cakes.

Kitchen Art Brasserie, is located at Empire hotel’s lobby level. The Brasserie is divided into indoor and outdoor dining. The indoor dining hall showcases ala minute cooking by chefs alongside the buffet counter whereas, the outdoor dining area has a nice roof top view of the skyline.
