I heard a Roomer – Roomers Frankfurt

One of the incredibly cool hotels I managed to stay at while passing through Frankfurt, thanks to Agoda’s fine arrangements, was Roomers.

The hotel itself is located a mere 3 minute walk from Frankfurt’s main train station and is also located just 10 minutes to a trendy food district in town. If you don’t mind a bit of a walk, the eating area takes you along the park and running path that meanders along the Main River of Frankfurt, and is ideal for an evening stroll or run. Roomers hotel really has a lot going for it in terms of location and comfort.

The color scheme is dark – definitely needs getting used to especially if you are from the older generation, but I can see why younger travelers would love it. Designer lounges, furniture, and toiletries in the guest rooms at Roomers are all very swanky. Roomers also has 24-hour room service so it does not matter if you get in late, into Frankfurt. Free wifi is a huge plus as well. This hotel located in the area of Bahnhofsviertel – near European Central Bank, Stock Exchange, the running Park, eating district as well as commercial center. The Frankfurt Trade Fair Grounds and Staedel Museum are also close to the hotel.

The Roomer’s stylish rooms feature dark wooden furniture and warm colour schemes. All include a marble bathroom and cable TV, while some have a Nintendo Wii games console.

This bath can sit 5 people comfortably (5? I asked, where do you find 5 people to bath with you?!). Well, he replied – ” Roomers  might be a good weekend party venue to hosts some amazing (ahem) parties”. 

Roomer’s spa facilities are pretty well equipped – spa tubs, a fitness center, a sauna and a steam room, could help make this a rejuvenating stay. There’s even a private outdoor lounge area, where one can go buck naked, if one chooses to! There is a swanky bar and lounge, to have a drink in the evenings. The hotel has only one F & B outlet – the main restaurant is situation on the Ground floor – it is attached to a trendy hotel bar that offers free appetisers with each drink. In summer, drinks and meals may be enjoyed on the terrace.

The lobby has a fireplace creating a cosy ambiance where you can sit and read or bring your laptop to do some work.
