If you are a vegetarian, you need to steer clear of Ribs at Oasis, BU.
Crispy Pork Knuckle RM49.90
However, if you are a real meat lover, you can order a whole pork knuckle to share between two and have a fairly decent amount to sink your teeth into.
My colleague made a fair comment. He said, give pork to the Chinese and they will make it better than anyone on earth. He was of course referring to the Char Siew (BBQ Pork). I told him, that they were two different styles of preparation and so one could not really compare. Having said that, I feel for him when he says, that the flavour always ends up in the crispy skin but not in the meat, in most of the pork knuckles he has eaten around town. To date, if he had to pick, his favourite is still the pork knuckle from Bavarian Bierhaus in KL.
Ultimate reverse Pork Burger – RM29.90
I actually came here to eat the famous Pork Burger that most foodies have blogged about, priced at RM25.00. When I saw Ultimate reverse pork burger on the menu, I just could not resist it. This burger was superb. The patty was thick and juicy and full of minced pork meat. There were nice, fresh bits of crunchy onions in the patty too, that told me it had been freshly made. The juices were still oozing into my bun! The icing on the cake was that it came with two of these massive patties – incredible value for money.
So, have you jumped on the Pork Burger Bandwagon yet.. or do you think KL is ready for something new, raise your hand? Incidentally, their weekend breakfast promotion is the pork rendang nasi lemak. Complete and utter pork haven.. The pork knuckle – unapologetically fatty and almost always anatomically identifiable .. enjoy!

OMG!!! I didn’t know about this place and it sounds incredible. I’m definitely going to check it out.
Poor me, didnt finish my burger, it was too salty.
Min also agreed it was a bit on the salty side.
but the banana apple crumble was GOOD!!
I just had dinner there. It was really bad. For starters, it was way too warm. We were all sweating our way through food that was both bad and overpriced. I ordered the pork knuckle. The skin was way WAY soft and spongy. It tasted like steamed pork knuckle. I have never had pork knuckle with spongy skin. The grilled lamb we had didn’t taste like it was grilled. The taste was so overpoweringly ‘lamby’ that I swore I could hear lambs bleating in the background. It didn’t even taste like it was marinated at all. The only dish that tasted half good was the crunchy pork starter. Then again, I could have got the same dish for a quarter of the price at the economy rice stall at any coffee shop. My family and I were really disappointed.
serious? poor u.. I would not eat there again if I were u. I on the other hand, did not have that experience. Cheers for the feedback.
