One thing that MCO has taught me not to take for granted are friends. And especially so, friendships forged on the back of lost toenails, worn out trainers, ungodly 5am run’s, a weekly mileage counter that touched 100KM clocked, that would finally culminate in running your best time in 42KM all around the world. There was a time, not too long ago, when we would enter any marathon that would have us. How I’ve missed those days.
Life was simpler back then.
Anyway, with the relaxation of MCO comes the rebirth of delicious artisanal bread. If you like sourdough, this cosy little place right here, Smiths, that took of in February of this year, is the bomb. We obviously decided to waste our sunny afternoon here catching up on kids, our lives & other people’s lives (some call this gossip) in this happy spot in Damansara Heights.
All in all a fabulous afternoon out. Loved Smith, Wood-Fired Oven “Breadsmiths” .. the name is well deserved. You’ll be seeing more of us here.
