An apple a day, keeps the doctor away.
And what an exciting and trendy Korean twist it is, set to be the apple of many foodies’ eyes apparently, once it launches in early September.
I am of course referring to the unique and catchy spin on traditional Korean BBQ called, Apple Samgyupsal.
Check out this corner shop in the Taman Desa hood, if you’re ever in the area.
You can’t help but wonder at the choice Pork cuts sitting in apple marinades for 24 hours and smoked in apple wood chips, or the real slices of apple spheres served at the BBQ pit, which adds flavour to the meats.
And if apples are anything to go by, then this latest Korean BBQ joint is all about keeping the doctor away. (How do you like them apples?:P)
