Chef Choi has moved!
And with this brand new location, comes some seriously damaging food.
Damaging to your diet and resolved to eat less after the holiday period, that is.
I mean, forget about the diet. When you come here, you really need to order the full monty in decadent dishes.
The only thing to bear in mind is that this is a private dining facility, which means, there is no menu. You need to call up and make reservations, and they will customize your dinner or lunch for you. Here’s the number to call .. +603 2163-5866
Yee Sang RM158 (small) RM198 (large)
Matzusaka Beef 100g – RM380; 9 person – 750g RM2850
With such exquisite marbling, there’s little you need to add to this dish. Matsusaka beef is black-haired Wagyu – these cows come from the Matsusaka region of Mie in Japan. Superb.
Braised Boston Lobster in Double Boiled Superior Soup 100g – RM38; 3KG RM1140
The secret is in the superior broth – I ended up slurping every last drop.
Braised Dry Abalone Slices with Seafood RM488 per pax – my favourite item here is the Far-Kau (fish maw) – super smooth like a baby’s bottom!
Roasted Crispy Farm Chicken RM118 per whole chicken – the texture is that of a small bird.. succulent and tasty
Yong Kee Chinese Sausage and Waxed Meat Claypot Rice RM138 (small), RM238 (large)
Better than the best Lap Mei Farn in town I tell ya. You have to try this…
Chocolate mousse RM25 per pax – smooth but not too sweet
195 Jalan Ampang definitely has a lot going for it, in terms of food, location, service and vibe. Definitely check it out for private parties and private dining.
Definitely not a wallet friendly meal >_< I can't afford lor~~~~
