Prime Ribs at Cedar on 15

There are few cuts of beef more majestic or as impressive as the prime rib.

The beef is slowly roasted for hours until the exterior is the color of the darkest mahogany and the interior a rosy pink from edge to edge. The meat is supple and lithe, deeply succulent and intensely beefy in flavor.

Finally, the prime example, of a great prime rib. A cut that finds the sweet-spot between the heartiness of a stew, the tenderness of a long braise and the bodacious flavors of a perfectly grilled steak.

This one embodied all that. And more.

No complaints on the delicious Prime Rib. Served alongside Yorkshire pudding, jacket baked potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and various types of mustards, it doesn’t get much better than this. There is also the Green Peppercorn or the Morel Mushroom sauce to choose from but the prime rib is tasty enough on its own. Tiramisu cheese cake. Cheesy – not really my thing. 

Crêpe Suzette – a retro classic of pancakes in a boozy orange sauce. Not bad but a little on the sweet side.
