On this recent long weekend we actually ventured up north and one of the little sleepy towns we drove past was Sabak Bernam. Sabak Bernam is situated northwest of Selangor. This district mainly grows rice and its main economic activity is agriculture.
In Sabak Bernam we came across this really interesting looking Mosque.
The intricate designs on the roof were really rather pretty.
But what was even more interesting was the Chinese Characters written underneath the mosque sign (I am guessing the Chinese Characters stand for Mosque or place of worship or something like that right?)
I think it is great that in Malaysia, all races live in harmony. Better yet, worship and praise God in harmony. I am reminded how lucky I am to be born Malaysian!
Selamat Berbuka Puasa to all my Muslim friends;)
