Hung Kee restaurant @ Jalan Loke Yew

I don’t know what it is about this place… maybe it’s near our church on a sunday… or maybe we are just plain ravenous and lazy to look any further…

but truth be told…

and while the wantan noodles are tasty…. as well as the sang har mee (camera died on me)…

you really should pick , what you eat HERE! ( i don’t care how old and established and famous/infamous and wonderful and entrenched and reputed and CROWDED this plc is… :O)

    i lurve eating at shops with a signboards like that…it speaks of age and maturity in taste…nice..

    and i’m reminded of koon kee, right at heart of petaling street…dirtier signboard, equally good wanton mee!
