Jaya ONE is starting to fill up with interesting restaurants. The office lots are not in full swing yet.. but soon.. real soon…

We saw this place called Tappers which was packed to the rafters – a good sign. We decided to go in.

Very reasonable prices for an air-conditioned, comfortable cafe setting.

Ooo… we ‘spy with our little eye’ nyonya cakes at Brisik!

Walking upstairs, we were greeted by really cute, vibrant deco… erm, but an empty room.

The only good thing, that Brisik has going for them, is the laid-back upper deck patio it has.

On the way home, i caught sight of something that made my eyes light up… ! HALO CAFE! Opening soon. Man, i used to looooooooove this place … the one in KL. Near Petaling St… I think it was situated on Jalan Balai Polis. That was like a loooooooooong time ago, back when I first came back from studies (yes, i am that old). We were so impressed with this place because it was one of the first open-mic cafes in KL… Granted the singers/music was mainly in Chinese, and we understood little of it… but no matter.. we loved the vibe anyway.

yerrrr….the sight of that irish coffee will haunt me the whole day lar…so X-files, haha!
nice pic of the patio.
I did passby tappers but, didn’t go in because their menu seems like with very little of choices only^^
OMG I remember Halo Cafe too…very cool lepak place for me and my friends! (and no, we didn’t understand much of it either)

Oh gosh! Halo Cafe! I remember those days and the outlet you’re talking about. Nostalgia habis!
yeah you’re right, Tappers dirt cheap, but nothing special. The bangers and mash looks like well, sausages and mashed potatoes. hahaha … and PEAS?!!! can’t they just make some salad huh?
Jaya ONE is shaping to be another cool hangout place with lots of restaurants and cafe huh? will be sure to drop by next time.
